I bought this one recently. And i'm not sure if this is a thing for all 1/8 trucks (this is my first), but it doesnt seem to roll over as fast as a 1/10. It is well planted, goes fast and steers surprisingly well for a monster truck. This and the savage XS make my two favourite RC's at the moment.

What max battery upgrade would you reco mend.

Front and rear bumpers DO NOT fit. Appearance Looks good but has some flaws. Rear bed is not supported, it sags.

Hbx makes good stuff, we need upgrade parts!! Check out the 2196 and 97.

Great car but DONT USE THESE CHARGERS! Tested two of them, one charged one cell to 4,26V, the other to 4,23V. The scond one created 0,2V difference in a balanced pack and also criticalls overcharged the battery. Absolut limit is 4,22V! Risk of fire and danger for everything.., nir worth it! Use a good reliable cgarger!

Bought this car and upgraded the shocks, its a fast little thing 39 mph on 3s. Now Can anyone tell me where to buy PARTS for this car? Bangood has just a limited list of parts and I´m missing an arm close to the steering servo. Ridicilous but I cant seem to find it. Someone wrote that there are other brands/models that looks/are exactly the same car. And if so, which model/brands? Thankful for any answer .

That's pretty disappointing that their hop up center shaft, that is designed to handle more power, does not actually handle more power without bending.

Its my go to basher. I found it was set up really well from factory, lock tight in the right spots. Have 10 packs through it. As per normal needed to reset the spur gear lash as it wore in and greased all the dog bones. It keeps up with everything. And performs really well on 4s! I did upgrade the axles to 17mm hotracing, i think the old school nuts are ok for nitro but not adequate for electric torque. Beef is there is no roll bar or skeloton for the body so you will bust those up as its only supported by the body posts. Ive been enjoying sending it lap after lap on the local bmx track (has some big rocks here and there that would eat a buggy and truggy, but this handels it really well). Jumps very predictable, haven't had a problem with the shocks yet. Fun truck and cheep thrills on 4s with fantastic performance!!!!! Which is amazing for an 1/8 scale. Like half the savings right there you get from the direct drive transmission. 40$ on zees and its on par with pretty much any 1/8 scale. Out of control on 6s lol. I have many rcs and my losi 5ive and the savage flux are my go to.

You think the short wheelbase driveshaft will survive better?

I filled those gaps with clear all purpose silicone. No more wiggles, and keeps the rod in place.

Does that esc fit in the normal version of the chasis?

I just got the Machete 4S version. Do you have any thoughts on using two 2S Lipos vs one 4S Lipo? Any advantage to which? I currently own a 3S Lipo, and was also wondering if it's possible to use in this vehicle as I'm still deciding to to buy either the two 2S or one 4S Lipo. Any recommendations you have would be great. thx!

Hey I have the 1/8th sidewinder combo has the 1515 & ever scince I have had it the bec doesn’t work 🤷‍♂️ any ideas on why it wouldn’t have power for the receiver? Great vid btw dang 61 for the rustler is pretty good 👍 flux still on stock gears rite?
